Clean, efficient and comfortable hotel with attentive staff who were not intrusive. The roof bar view is magnificent.
The location of the Hotel and the view from the terrace is absolutely fantastic. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
The size of the room is extremely small, although the rooms were very clean.
Great location. Clean room, but small. Helpful front desk staff willing to answer questions and give suggestions.
We were told breakfast began at 7:30am, but when we went to get breakfast at 7:50am nothing was ready! We were scheduled for a city tour and were being picked up at 8:10am. So, we had to rush eating breakfast!
At the start of my visit ,I planned to change the hotel because no ( twin bed (Iwas travelling with my eldest son. then,I changed my mind because of the friendily and exellent hotel staff. the hotel is small and cosy,it makes you feel as home..the room services are exellent, clean rooms and the cost is reasonable. the site in old istanbul and near to most of the historical areas. the tram station is near to the hotel so the transportation to other areas is very easy ,air conditining is exellent .. I like to thank all the hotel staff there ( mr cem, adam, hassan, sadat and all the staff there. IFam going to istanbul again i am going to burcking hotel diffinitly I hope they keep the same stander and wish them all the best.. but please try to arrange for twin beds in some rooms...
no big proplems only no twin beds, the rooms are small but it likes all hotels in sultan hamet area..
Very centrally located. Beautiful rooftop terrace for breakfast. Friendly staff
Room pretty small but most in that area are.
im relly intrasteng with staff this hotel, also friendlly as hasan and ahsan and idam and buraq.will be back to ther.
I liked almost everything ,Traveling with my daughter and found the place a safe and respectable crew
I did not find the direction of Mecca for prayers, does not have a water boiler
The roof terrace with the most amazing view of the Istabul skyline.
There was a little noise in the mornings
Outstanding friendliness, wonderful view and truly the best breakfast on the planet. Hope they manage to keep up the truly great standard they have set in this new hotel. The service was thoughtful, the attitude kind and caring. They deserve nice people to go and appreciate it and not take all that profoundly good hospitality for granted (and not help themselves to 4 pieces of fruit each at breakfast which is what I witnessed). We so enjoyed our stay at this stylish place within walking distance of all the great sights and a stone's throw from the tram station. 'Excellent' is an understatement.and it was so nice to go somewhere and pay a very reasonalbe price for a good night's sleep on a comfortable bed with lovely soft big towels in the bathroom. The room and bathroom sizes were not huge but perfectly adequate. Luxury but not on a gradiose scale which is really what most people want.Housekeeping was faultless.
View on roof
Room soooooooooo small wc not good front door for hotel need help to get inside lobe , left is soooooooooo small
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Very small rooms; poor Internet connection in the room.
Was excellent, we really loved everything. What we like a lot was the staff; they did all the best; they received us with a fruit plate; we felt as we were in a five stars hotel; and the terrace view it's perfect; enjoy a drink there at the sunset.
For us was no problem, the shower was very good, but if you are a big person(very tall or very fat) you will have problem to take a shower, cause the shower is compact.
The Burckin Hotel is ideally situated for exploring Istanbul - very close to the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, the Grand Bazaar, etc, and also very close to public transport. It was clean and very quiet. The room was not big, but it was comfortable. Furnishings are smart modern. Breakfasts were good and there's a nice view from the breakfast terrace.
Nothing really - a good place for a tourist to stay
The staff were very helpful. Close to many of the tourist attractions and shopping.
The air condioning was often a problem. On our last day the tech was able to get it working. The staff did try to relocate us but the ac just was not efficient. The hotel needs to upgrade ther system.
It was a short one day stay. The hotel staff from the Manger to the lowest level were very friendly.
The rooms are very very small. It is the location for which the huge rate is meant for
